My mom and dad came to visit at the end of June. We had a lot of fun, running around here and there. Jane loved getting to know Grandma and Grandpa Griner better. Papa Griner was the first person to ever make her laugh at 3 months old. And this trip he learned lots of her signs and let Jane entertain him by playing "night-night" over and over again. We were horrible about taking pictures but my dad was on the ball, so I've taken his.
We went to the zoo:

And to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point:

And to the park, hotel pool, carousel at the mall, and church of course:

We also had fun at home playing in the pool, making pizzas, and playing "night-night."

Thanks, Mom and Dad, for a wonderful trip. Jane still talks about Papa and Nammy, especially when she sees a man with a mustache wearing a bucket hat.

Grandparents are absolutely the best. Don't you love that cool new carousel at the zoo? My kids were going crazy with the praying mantis, poison dart frog, etc etc. My daughter starts kindergarten in less than 48 hrs, I am freaking out!
Dad shared the vacation pics with me and I think there were about 15 of Jane just during their arrival. Do you remember when he took tons of pictures of Jane in her high chair when you were in Windsor? That is awesome, huh? Our kids are blessed with dynomite grandparents!! Glad you all had a great time. Can't wait till New Years.
Looks like you all had fun! I didn't know that there was a new carousel at the zoo?? We are planning to go when the weather gets cooler.
That is sweet. It is hard living far from parents. But the good thing is that the ones who live far away get crazy excited when they get to see their grandchildren. I have been so surprised at how infatuated my dad is with noah (i fully expected it with my mom, and was not disappointed). Isn't it cute how much they love them?
