Valentine's Day
Jane's cousin Paris came over on Valentine's day and we made Red Velvet cookies. I used a cake mix that looked brown when it was dry. As we added the oil and eggs I told them to watch what will happen. Paris was so excited, "It's turning red! It's turning red!" They had fun licking the beaters.

That is so darling! I love anything red velvet!
Licking the batter is by far my favorite part of making cupcakes or cake (or cookies or anything else for that matter). Fun!
