One night we had read a couple books and when he asked for a third book, a Ninjago book, I told him I thought I was all read-out. He said, "My body is telling me I think you should read Ninjago."
Hank announced one day, "Boys need kisses before they turn into snakes. I saw that on Ninjago."
Hank goes to see the elementary school speech teacher once a week for twenty minutes. At their last session she had a game out with pieces that looked like Oreo's. Hank told her, "When I was little I was in my mom's tummy, then I popped out, then I was crawling everywhere!! But...I didn't want my mom to call me Han. I wanted her to call me Oreo-eater."
Pete continues to learn all about boy toys. He know excitedly points out "ninjago" and while reading a superhero book I realized in addition to Batman and Superman he also knows the Flash and Aquaman.
Pete has been really into labeling colors lately. While we were driving he kept yelling out every car her saw. "Blue Car!" "White Truck!" Of course, they were really pronounced "boo tar" and "vite fruht." I do so love the v sound standing in for all his w's. He sounds very German.
