We had a wonderful Easter egg hunt at Aunt Tammy's house in California. I loved it so much and I'm so glad we were able to be there. They hid lots of eggs and Jane got to find 10 of them. She figured it out very quickly and did a really good job at looking for them, and then obediently put them in her basket. It was so cute and I was in Easter heaven.

As you can imagine I loved putting Jane's Easter basket together. She got sidewalk chalk, play-doh, a beloved Elmo doll, and freeze dried fruits in her plastic eggs. And I must admit some re-gifted gifts from last year. I gave her the same 2 Easter-themed books that she received last Easter because last year she just didn't appreciate them yet. And I'm willing to be they will be re-gifted next year too, sadly that will probably be the last time I can get away with that.

Its so funny you mentioned the cadbury mini eggs because I am eating them right now as I look at the darling pics of Jane. I love them too and look forward to easter for the beloved purple bag :).
Those pictures are beautiful! I now wish I had gotten dried fruit in my basket. Instead, I've been pigging out on candy for weeks.
Wow- I echo your sentiments on Easter exactly- including the mini-eggs. I must say I accidently bought a bag of DARK chocolate mini-eggs and was disappointed, but I was able to get the MILK chocolate later. And I like the big eggs with the cream inside as well.
Stellar photo of Jane looking at the Easter basket which is reflected in the window. Did Matt photo shop the background black? I was going on about how adorable that was and Livvy said, "Yeah, but that hair is not adorable." I couldn't believe her- I told her that YES IT WAS! and she said no, it's weird- however Jane herself is still adorable. Maybe Olivia will be blessed with a red-headed little brother.
That's so awesome you got to spend Easter in California!
Jane did such a great job! I love those pajamas!
Ryan loves Cadbury mini eggs too! Jane is adorable. I'm so jealous that she appears to be wearing summer clothing!! I had a ray of hope last week when we had about a 10 foot square patch of grass showing in our front yard. I was so happy! Then last weekend we got a another foot and a half. :(
I love the regifting thing! Why not? Tyler got baby food and spoons for easter. Hopefully I won't be regifting those next year.
