Pete continues to excite us with all of his new skills. He has learned some colors and continues to love letters. He's really gotten excited about V's and W's this week. He brought me the Kix box and said, K! K! It's so adorable when you ask him a letter. He always says, "uh" while he's gearing up to say the letter and then explodes in excitement. "Uh...V!"
He has started saying two-word phrases like when he's done with he handed me his empty cup and said, "Gone, bapple dooce."
He used to hate getting his hair washed but Matt started using a wash cloth on his eyes after rinsing his head. They call it an eye towel, pronounced, "eye tow-why" which is really catchy.
Every time Pete is in the bathtub he gets the bath toys he got for his birthday and says, "Birthday!" One day when he was playing with those toys he surprised me by saying, "Birthday. Happy. Two." I guess he really remembers his birthday fondly!
Jane keeps reading so late every night. Each book she reads becomes a new favorite. She is loving "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon" now and nearly breaks down in tears every time she thinks about the dragon being tied up and crying.
Matt started a reward system for the kids. They get marbles for being good listeners and getting their stuff done. They are all doing really great.
